Mike Chinn joined Endicott Growth Equity Partners as a Partner in November 2019. Mr. Chinn has over 25 years of experience in the information and software industry, beginning in 1994 as an analyst at SNL Financial. At SNL, he also worked in product management and development before being named President in 2000 and CEO in 2008. Mr. Chinn lead SNL through successive phases of rapid growth, scale and global expansion. After completing a recapitalization transaction with New Mountain Capital in 2011, SNL doubled revenue in four years through both organic and acquisition growth. In 2015, SNL was sold to S&P Global (formerly McGraw Hill Financial) for $2.2B and Mr. Chinn was named President of the $1.8B revenue Market Intelligence division that includes SNL, CapitalIQ and several other information businesses. In three years, Mr. Chinn and the leadership team delivered acquisition synergies on time and ahead of budget, increased operating margins, rationalized the business portfolio, and grew organic revenue. Mr. Chinn graduated from the University of Virginia in 1994 with a B.A. in Economics and History.
Wayne Goldstein is a Co-Founder of Endicott Group and Founding Partner of Endicott Growth Equity Partners, L.P. Mr. Goldstein is responsible for the development of the funds and the implementation of the investment strategy. Mr. Goldstein serves on the Boards of Directors of Bank Leumi USA, U.S. Century Bank (FL) and Columbia Lake Partners (a European venture debt fund) and as a Board Observer of Park Cities Financial Group (TX). He previously served on the Boards of Directors of First Capital Corporation (FL, NY), American Chartered Bancorp, Inc. (IL), Equity Bancshares, Inc. (KS), SJB Corporation (NY), and was a Board Observer to Community & Southern Holdings, Inc. (GA), NewBridge Bancorp (NC), Florida Bank Group (FL) and Sterling Bancorp (NY). Prior to founding Endicott, from 1988 to January 1996, Mr. Goldstein was a Managing Director at Sandler O’Neill & Partners, L.P., an investment banking firm specializing in financial institutions. Mr. Goldstein received a Master of Business Administration in Finance from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Brandeis University.
Will Pappas is a Founding Partner of Endicott Growth Equity Partners, L.P. As such, he is responsible for the development of the fund and the implementation of the investment strategy. Mr. Pappas has over 20 years of experience in the information and software industry. In 1996, he joined Multex.com, a financial information start-up, as a salesman and left following the company’s IPO in 1999 to start Y-Merge, a financial analytics company focused on the banking industry. Mr. Pappas sold Y-Merge in 2002 for stock to SNL Financial where he led the sales organization and joined the Board of Directors. During his time at SNL, the company grew organically and through acquisitions from under $20 million in revenue in 2002 to $300 million in revenue in 2018. After completing a recapitalization transaction with New Mountain Capital in 2011, SNL doubled revenue in four years through both organic and acquisition growth. In 2015, SNL was sold to S&P Global (formerly McGraw Hill Financial) for $2.2B and Mr. Pappas and the SNL management team took over leadership of the CapitalIQ division to restructure that business. He stayed in this role for 18 months before joining Kensho, a machine learning and artificial intelligence start-up focused on automation on Wall Street that sold to S&P Global for $550 million in April 2018. Prior to joining Endicott, Mr. Pappas worked in an advisory capacity at several information companies including URSA Space, Adaptive Data and Reorg (a Warburg Pincus company of which he is a Board member). Prior to starting his career in the information and software industry, Mr. Pappas worked for three years as an investment banking analyst at Sandler O’Neil & Partners, L.P., an investment banking firm specializing in financial institutions. Mr. Pappas graduated from Duke University with an A.B. in Economics and History.
Robert Usdan is a Co-Founder and Founding Partner of Endicott Growth Equity Partners, L.P. Mr. Usdan is responsible for the development of the funds and the implementation of the investment strategy. Mr. Usdan serves on the Boards of Directors of American Business Bank (CA), Metropolitan Bank Holding Corporation (NY), and MANTL (NY). He previously served on the Boards of Directors of TGR Financial, Inc. (FL), Square 1 Financial, Inc. (NC), and Radius Bancorp (MA). Prior to founding Endicott, from 1990 to January 1996, Mr. Usdan was an Associate Director at Sandler O’Neill & Partners, L.P. Mr. Usdan received a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and a minor in Art History from the University of Virginia.
Dan Seideman joined Endicott Growth Equity Partners as a Principal in October 2020. Mr. Seideman has over 20 years of experience in technology-enabled information services and financial industries. He joined SNL Financial in 2005, leading product management for the Media & Communications, Energy, and Metals & Mining divisions until its sale to S&P Global (formerly McGraw Hill Financial) for $2.2B in 2015. While at SNL, Mr. Seideman managed divisional strategy, operations, product management, and P&L during a period of rapid global expansion and double-digit revenue growth. At S&P Global, Mr. Seideman led M&A, divestitures, strategic investments, and strategy for the Market Intelligence division. He also created and led the Innovation & Strategic Development function, building S&P’s market presence in technology and developing a technology M&A evaluation process. His acquisitions, investments, and partnerships drove scalable business value from technology-enabled information companies focusing on next generation data technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, natural language processing, and advanced data processing capabilities. Previously, Mr. Seideman was an investment banker at Lehman Brothers focused on media and communications and currently, he is a member of the Charlottesville Angel Network, an active early-stage investment network. Mr. Seideman has a BA in American Studies from Amherst College.
J. Michael Gibbons is a Vice President at Endicott Group. Mr. Gibbons is responsible for the execution of the investment strategy. As such, Mr. Gibbons sources potential investments and oversees the financial analysis and due diligence process. Mr. Gibbons serves on the Board of Directors of TGR Financial Inc. (FL) and as a Board Observer of Park Cities Financial Group, Inc. (TX). He previously served on the Board of Directors of Hercules Offshore Liquidating Trust (a trust managing the assets of a Texas-based energy company). Prior to joining Endicott in 2009, Mr. Gibbons was an analyst at Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. in the Goldman Sachs Asset Management Private Equity Group; Hudson Insurance Capital Partners, a middle-market private equity firm focused on the insurance industry; and Booz Allen Hamilton, as a Consultant in the Economic Business Analysis Group. Mr. Gibbons holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
Bradley Maneely is the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer of Endicott Group. Mr. Maneely oversees the financial and regulatory aspects of Endicott as well as the legal and documentation phases of investment transactions. Prior to joining Endicott in August 2009, Mr. Maneely was the Chief Financial Officer at Hudson Insurance Capital Partners, a middle-market private equity firm focused on the insurance industry. Prior to Hudson, Mr. Maneely was a Senior Manager at Meisel, Tuteur & Lewis, P.C., a New Jersey-based public accounting firm, where he spent nearly ten years focusing on the financial services industry. Mr. Maneely is a New Jersey licensed Certified Public Accountant (Inactive) and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Vermont.
Sean Higgins is the Controller of Endicott Group. Mr. Higgins is responsible for the preparation of fund accounting, the oversight of fund administration and other fund level service providers. Additionally, he manages the accounting for internal management company entities. Prior to joining Endicott in January 2015, Mr. Higgins was a Manager at Meisel, Tuteur & Lewis, P.C., a New Jersey-based public accounting firm, where he spent eight years providing audit and tax work for various financial services clients. Mr. Higgins is a New Jersey licensed Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Rider University.
Anna Oganesyan is Advisor to Endicott Growth Equity Partners L.P. and is responsible for fundraising and investor relations. Previously, Ms. Oganesyan was Head of Business Development at Flat World Partners. Prior to Flat World Partners, she worked at Man Group for 7 years in New York and London, where most recently she was Vice President within the Institutional Business Development team helping fundraise for Man’s Credit strategies. Before Man, Ms. Oganesyan worked as a Senior Analyst at Goldman Sachs Asset Management in London. Ms. Oganesyan has a BA in International Relations from Yerevan State University, an LLM in European and International Law from Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO University) and an MSc in Finance and Investment from BPP Business School in London.
AJ Ross is an Associate at Endicott Group. Mr. Ross is responsible for the execution of the investment strategy, including financial analysis and the investment due diligence process. Prior to joining Endicott, Mr. Ross was an associate in the Technology Investment Banking group at Jefferies LLC, a global investment banking firm, focusing on M&A. Prior to his role in the Technology Investment Banking group, Mr. Ross served as an analyst in the Municipal Investment Banking group at Jefferies focusing on Securitizations and Project Finance. Mr. Ross holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Michigan State University.
Mina Melo joined Endicott Group in 2019. She has several years of managerial and administrative experience, having worked in sales and television prior to entering the finance industry. Ms. Melo received a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism from CUNY – Brooklyn College.
Reid Nagle spends his time building businesses and training racehorses. Mr. Nagle currently owns a rapidly growing regional transportation company, All-in Removal, and has a real estate business that owns and manages Black Prong, a recently-acquired equestrian RV park in north central Florida, and Big Lick Farm, a thoroughbred training center also in north central Florida. Mr. Nagle was the Chairman and CEO of SNL Financial (”SNL”), the leading global sector specific purveyor of news and corporate, market and financial information, until 2010. After New Mountain Financial acquired a majority interest in SNL in 2011, Mr. Nagle remained a director and was SNL’s second largest shareholder. In September 2015, SNL was sold to McGraw Hill Financial, when it had 3,300 employees working in 23 offices in 11 countries around the globe. Prior to starting SNL in 1987, Mr. Nagle spent ten years in the financial services industry. He was the CFO of a New Jersey savings bank (also serving as vice chairman and CAO) and subsequently worked with the financial services and arbitrage affiliates of Ivan F. Boesky and Co. Mr. Nagle holds a bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University, and master’s and doctoral degrees in political economy from Johns Hopkins University.
